In talking with a client last week this was a very real situation for him. He was getting swallowed up in Facebook and ending up going done a time-sucking social media rabbit hole. Which in turn affected his time to focus on growth in his pharmacy.
So I thought I’d write this and share the pitfalls and alternatives with you.
Whenever you’re trying to understand something in the online world, think of the offline world.
To me, social media is like a professional networking business breakfast.
It can be extremely valuable because the more people get to know you the more people trust you.
And it follows, the more people will engage with your pharmacy and your services.
But there’s an opportunity cost to it. You wouldn’t spend 3 days a week hanging out at professional pharmacy business breakfasts, now would you?
